Effective Tuesday, January 16, 2024, event planners must submit a space request 15- business days before their scheduled event. The 15-business-day requirement does not include the day of submission nor official university holiday closings. This extended reservation time will provide Scheduling and Event Services with appropriate time to coordinate with campus partners such as Kit Kats, Custodial, Grounds, and other key partners. HOMEWOOD DEPARTMENTS/JHU NON-HOMEWOOD AFFILIATE SUBMISSIONS: All event space requests that require additional services (tables/chairs rental, trash cans, tents, AV, etc.) must be submitted FIFTEEN BUSINESS days or more before the event date. For all other events, please get in touch with Scheduling & Events at 410-516-8209. If needed, you will be assigned a special event coordinator to help you secure additional services (audio-visual, table/chair rental, trash/recycling receptacles, etc.). Requests for academic classrooms will be reviewed and processed after classroom assignments have been completed. (Tentatively two weeks before the start of the semester.) FOOD AND DRINKS ARE NOT PERMITTED IN ACADEMIC CLASSROOMS.
These spaces can only be reserved by registered undergraduate student organizations.
